The morning after Thanksgiving has one looking for something clean, light and soothing on the stomach. Our favorite yogurt is from the Biodynamic Seven Stars Farm, whole milk, tasting of seasonal grasses and clovers, cream on top. I had some leftover toasted hazelnuts from the pumpkin pear pie, some leftover pomegranate seeds, and a mixture of freshly ground flax seeds and raw cocoa nibs which are always present in my refrigerator for smoothies. Thus, a yogurt sundae was born and accompanied by a weekend treat of home-brewed cappuccino – a perfect antidote for overindulgence. Drizzle some fantastic honey on top and settle into a big armchair in the sun. Ahhhh, long weekends!

Wow, that looks wonderful! It's the perfect antioxidant to Thanksgiving dinner :)

I put pomegranate seeds all over my salads, but never thought to toss them on my morning yogurt. Thank you for the idea - I plan to try it in the AM!
